    Described as a soundtrack to a film that hadn't been written yet, Paul Kakbrenner's self-titled third CD is a cinematic studio album from the German producer and DJ. Featuring spacey synths, orchestral arrangements, and hypnotic beats, the 2004 minimal techno/trance follow-up to Superimpose produced two tracks ("Castanets," "Queer Fellow") that would later appear on his soundtrack to Hannes Sthr's 2008 film, Berlin Calling. ~ Jon O'Brien
