  • Angelique Boyer essays the title role in this Spanish-language telenovela that originally aired on the Univision network. It actually constitutes a remake of the 1989 telenovela TERESA, which starred a young Salma Hayek. In the new version, Teresa is a selfish and conniving young woman driven almost exclusively by greed. Though she was raised by kind, decent, loving parents who tried to build the best life for her that they possibly could, Teresa would much rather lie, cheat and manipulate her way to success than find and hold down an honest job. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Mariano, stands behind her; he's deeply and sincerely in love, but she perceives and treats him as a tool whom she can use to achieve her nefarious ends. Co-stars include Aarn Daz and Sebastin Rulli.
