Filmmakers Peter Glenn and Jason A. Also known as the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, The School of the Americas is an official Department of Defense facility that has trained over 60,000 Latin American soldiers since 1946. Critics of the institution argue that graduates of the program are some of the biggest human-rights violators in the world.
