Next up is a 1997 short film adaptation of THE OVAL PORTRAIT, helmed by Phillip Boland, about a Civil War-era artist who grows obsessed with the subject of a portrait and ultimately causes the death of the subject - thereby laying the foundation for a curse that lasts centuries.
