This three-CD set covers the reggae sound of the late '60s and early '70s that was popular among young people in Britain. The first two discs feature hitmakers like the Upsetters, Ansel Collins, Derrick Morgan, and a host of less-well-known artists. The third disc focuses on material from Britain itself -- homegrown reggae made by Winston Groovy, Rico & Rudies, and many others. The 50 tracks have been digitally remastered and many appear on CD for the first time. This is a fine, low-priced collection that should appeal to almost any reggae fan. ~ Tim Sendra
