    Comprising only three extended ragas, the "best of" title may be slightly misleading, but the tracks here are nevertheless indicative of the gorgeous sitar-playing that makes Ravi Shankar one of the luminaries of Indian classical music. His mind-boggling technique, with nimble fret-work and expressive picking, is in evidence on all three pieces, and, although more comprehensive collections are available, the brevity of the package makes for a good introduction to the man's music.
