    The shifting line-up of composer and percussionist Adam Rudolph's ensemble Moving Pictures has always, over the last 15 years, featured a high caliber of musicians, but the group that plays on DREAM GARDEN truly dazzles. Multi-instrumentalist Graham Haynes, reedist Steve Gorn, and percussionist Hamid Drake are only a few of the luminaries on this set. In addition to the musical chops on tap, DREAM GARDEN also folds in a dizzying array of world music styles, drawing North African, Afro-Cuban, Indian, and Middle Eastern flavors structured under the guidance of a near-telepathic avant garde jazz sensibility. Lyrical, challenging, and thoroughly absorbing, DREAM GARDEN is one of the most noteworthy jazz fusion recordings of 2008.
