  • When the Beach Boys unveiled their album "Pet Sounds" it was hailed as a ground breaking masterpiece from the mind of band member and producer, Brian Wilson. In the years since its release the acclaim for the album has grown considerably, with it consistently topping critics polls for the greatest album ever made. Now brought to the DVD-Audio format for a whole new listening experience, this classic album is rendered in the 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound format, as well as in stereo and mono versions. Also included are a selection of outtakes, a capella versions, session highlights, and a Pet Sounds promo film. Tracks featured include classic songs like "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Sloop John B," "God Only Knows," "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times," and "Don't Talk (Put Your Head On My Shoulder)" amongst others.
