  • What happens to the internal workings of a family when their baby is born dangerously premature, and ends up fighting for its life? Nicole Conn had first hand experience of such a situation, and documents her findings in LITTLE MAN. Conn and her partner Gwen Baba hired a surrogate to give birth for them, leading to fraught, bitter infighting, and the disintegration of their formely-stable relationship. The resulting film can be painful to watch, but it's a vital examination of how the family unit copes with seemingly insurmountable pain and suffering.
