Christmas with the Stars, Vol. 2 is a fairly engaging and eclectic compilation of carols performed by the likes of Loreena McKennitt, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Natalie Cole, the Choir of New College Oxford, the Boxton Camerata, Hugh Wolf and the BBC Philarmonic. Given such a wide range of artists, it's not entirely surprising that the comp doesn't always hold together, but any listener who has such wide-ranging tastes should find this a good holiday album. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
