Hot off of the success of their critically acclaimed 2006 debut YOYOYOYOYOYO, experimental hip-hop group Spank Rock switches things up with a club-friendly mix CD on the U.K. label Fabric Records. Among the widely varying artists that can be found in Spank Rock's crates are Kurtis Blow, Mr. Oizo, Dominatrix, Yello, Kano, Daft Punk, the Countours, Mylo, Yes, Hot Chip, Gaz Nevada, Simian Mobile Disco, Tangerine Dream, the Romantics, Rick Ross, and Chicks on Speed. FABRICLIVE 33 also includes a handful of the group's own remixes for Cansei de Ser Sexy, Best Fwends, Bonde do Role, and the Ford Granada. The disc acts as a nice stopgap for fans until the release of the group's official sophomore effort.
