    The Soulful Sound of Marvin Gaye is essentially the same album as Adults Only, released on CBS Records in 1987, but repackaged with some substitutions. "Sexual Healing" is finally listed with the proper songwriter's credits, but here the classic is shortened to under four minutes in length -- 3:59 to be exact. "My Love Is Waiting," however, is full-length and hooks you with its reggae beats and rhythms. The standard "Why Did I Choose You?" has Gaye sounding like a '60s MOR artist, and "Til Tomorrow" and "Ain't It Funny" were both written by Gaye. ~ Andrew Hamilton
