Cherry Vanilla was a glam rock camp follower and part of David Bowie's entourage in the early 1970s. After punk democratized the music scene, the former publicist had a brief career as a minor fixture on the Max's Kansas City side of the New York punk scene, releasing two albums on RCA Records in 1978 and 1979. BAD GIRLS and VENUS D'VINYL are collected in full on this two-fer CD, featuring glam-influenced, overtly sexualized songs like "I Know How To Hook," "Hard As A Rock," and "The Young Boys."
