As a fond farewell to his old label, Oh Boy Records, just before making the jump to the larger New Door imprint, Todd Snider helped compile the anthology PEACE LOVE AND ANARCHY out of songs he had left over from his sessions for the label. Collecting early alternate versions of familiar songs like "Nashville" and Snider's own readings of songs recorded by other artists, such as "Barbie Doll" and "Feel Like I'm Falling In Love," along with rough unfinished songs and interesting stylistic experiments, this is a 14-track trawl through Todd Snider's private notebooks. As such, it's probably best appreciated by longtime fans instead of newcomers.
