Released a little over a year after Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Wanda Jackson and White Stripes frontman Jack White teamed up for a cover of Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good," The Party Ain't Over represents the first full-length album to be unleashed by the iconic singer in years. Featuring appearances by White (who also served as producer), his wife Karen Elson, various Raconteurs, My Morning Jacket's Carl Broemel, and a host of others, The Party Ain't Over arrives in early 2011.

  • Critic Reviews
Rolling Stone (p.69) - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "The song selection is superb: rollicking versions of Eddie Cochran and Little Richard songs, calypso standards, a gutsy reimagining of Bob Dylan's 'Thunder on the Mountain.'"
Spin (p.72) - "The 73-year-old rockabilly trailblazer teams with Jack White, who weirds out in a way he seemed too bashful to do on VAN LEAR ROSE..."
Mojo (Publisher) (p.108) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "For this crackling venture, rockabilly queen Jackson and rockology prince White chose the songs together..."
Clash (magazine) - "The First Lady of Rockabilly still possesses a soulful holler."
Record Collector (magazine) (p.91) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[H]er full-throated reading of 'Thunder On The Mountain might be one of the best versions of a Dylan track you'll ever hear."
Uncut (magazine) (p.91) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[T]his is a gallant, creative burst of risk-taking, the singer taking her sound to places no soul would've imagined in, say, 1956."
