Murnau's SUNRISE and CITY GIRL are accounted for and brimming with surreal pathos, as are eight gems from Borzage: LAZYBONES, SEVENTH HEAVEN, STREET ANGEL, LUCKY STAR, THEY HAD TO SEE PARIS, SONG O' MY HEART, LILIOM, and BAD GIRL.
