  • Beautiful Alaska serves as the backdrop to this dramatic tale of two women who develop a rather unusual relationship. Androgynous Eskimo, Kotz (K.D. Lang) meets and becomes attracted to Roswitha (Rosel Zech), the town librarian. At first, Roswitha is a bit standoffish toward Kotz, but after awhile the beautiful innocence of the woman's personality becomes irresistible to Roswitha. Together they turn toward freedom, confront past demons, and let their hidden desire for each other flourish.
