A mutated virus threatens the future of mankind as a group of animal rights activists raid a government research lab, and a wounded anti-terrorist operative becomes the first victim in a deadly outbreak. As a group of activists fight to liberate animals scheduled for vivisection, a terrorist dwells in their midst. His goal is to steal a revolutionary virus - and the moment he does, no one is safe. At the same time, a scientist at a city hospital injects an ailing soldier with the virus. As news reports reveal that biologists across Europe are dying under bizarre circumstances, the race to stop the ultimate killer virus begins.
