This 20-song compilation of romantic roots reggae numbers gets less interesting as the sequence goes on, maybe because all of the singers here are more or less sounding the same themes and approaches, until one wishes for a little fire and brimstone, a little "down with Babylon" passion. True, these are love songs, and sometimes you need 'em, so if you want to forget Babylon for a moment and listen to stuff that goes over on the easy side, this makes for a nice, smooth listen. Among the highlights are the opener, a version of "Unforgettable" by the great late Dennis Brown, and Sanchez's bright take on "Unchained Melody." ~ Steve Leggett
