    There seems to be no end to the torrent of compilations featuring Bob Marley's early material, and it also seems like any dedicated Marley fan must already own these songs on several different sets. Yet for the few stragglers, there is 2006's STOP THAT TRAIN, a 16-track collection of the Wailers work with legendary producer Lee "Scratch" Perry. The band was spectacularly rugged and raw during this period, reflecting American R&B as much as ska and rocksteady, and Marley's songwriting--"Natural Mystic," "Caution," and "Mellow Mood" are among the highlights--is as sharp and lilting as ever.
