This release from the Cherry Red-affiliated Super Bird label contains the three albums from Ernie Isley, Chris Jasper & Marvin Isley: Broadway's Closer to Sunset Blvd. (1984), the Top Ten R&B album Caravan of Love (1985), and Different Drummer (1987). All told, the trio placed six singles on the U.S. R&B chart; most of them reached the Top 20, while "Caravan of Love" itself went to number one, and they're all in this compilation. For most, the 2003 Epic/Legacy compilation Caravan of Soul: The Best of Isley Jasper Isley will cover the essentials.
