Her playing throughout Follow Me Down, which includes stints on mandolin, octave mandolin, clawhammer banjo, and acoustic guitar, is equally impressive, and her careful straddling of the traditional and indie music scenes feels genuine, rather than shrewdly pieced together by producers and promoters.
