Included are 1979's Live at Laren, 1986's Ideal Scene, 1987's The New York Album, 1990's Zounds, and 1992's Lunasea. One of the original '50s cool jazzers, Konitz developed over time into a cerebral, adventurous, and always swinging journeyman artist who never shied away from challenging himself or taking musical risks.
