The songs on his second album WIRE TO WIRE sound like they could have been recorded in 1958 Nashville instead of 1998 Nashville, making Robbie Fulks sound like Van Halen. Though the instrumentation is largely acoustic, the crack band Burch assembled (which includes some Lambchop cohorts) is anything but mellow. The overall feel is one of Texas swing mixed with bluegrass and honky-tonk, with percolating, down-home grooves supporting Burch's solid country songsmithery. For those who lean more to the \"alt\" side of alt-country, WIRE TO WIRE is highly recommended.","brand":"MovieMars","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46739036864799,"sku":"805520210829","price":15.95,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0679\/7833\/0399\/products\/9b199e3cc3458a0e2de41274720d1b9d_05a2b747-33ef-437f-a805-b84234ae241e.jpg?v=1697544152","url":"https:\/\/www.moviemars.com\/products\/wire-to-wire","provider":"MovieMars","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
