In a rural town in the Deep South, Walden Dean spends his days working as a humble and awkward court stenographer. However, an unexpected terminal diagnosis inspires a psychotic break in Walden, who, with nothing to lose, begins to seek vengeance against criminals who escape prosecution for their violent crimes.
