1996 Fiesta Bowl National Championship: Huskers

The 1996 Fiesta Bowl pitted a Florida team led by coach Steve Spurrier against Tom Osborne and his Huskers, and the result was an exciting Nebraska victory. The Gators took an early but short-lived lead, as the combination of Tommie Frazier and Lawrence Phillips proved overpowering and led the Huskers to an emphatic 62-24 win and a second straight national championship.
