Wedding mania gets a comic spin in the tale of Jane (Katherine Heigl), who's always a bridesmaid and never a bride. Jane's passion for all things nuptial is tested when she's asked to plan her sister's wedding to the man she secretly loves. A cynical columnist (James Marsden) who falls for Jane while surreptitiously writing a human-interest story about her further complicates Jane's dreams of love and marriage.
