For 20 years, the Enache family has been living under the radar and off the grid of modern civilization, untouched by modernism in Romania. Gica and Niculina have been raising their nine children within the Bucharest Delta, a wetlands area set to be rezoned as an urban wildlife reserve. Due to this development, the family is discovered, and city officials try to integrate them into modern living by resettling them in the city—with unsettling results.
