Adventures in Iraq/The Legion of Missing Men

This DVD features two classic B-movie adventures set in the windswept deserts of WWII-era Arabia. In ADVENTURES IN IRAQ (1943), a pilot (Warren Douglas) and his two passengers (John Loder and Ruth Ford) are left stranded in the middle of an Iraqi desert after a near-fatal plane crash. The group is held hostage by an affluent sheik (Paul Cavanagh) who just happens to be a Nazi collaborator--and a desperate struggle for survival and freedom commences. In THE LEGION OF MISSING MEN (1937), two brothers (Ralph Forbes and Ben Alexander) serving in the French Foreign Legion vie for the love of a dancing girl (Hala Linda). When she falls into the clutches of an evil sheik (Roy D'Arcy), the brothers band together and attempt her rescue only to be captured, tortured, and forced into servitude.
