This documentary tries to capture the essence of the identified golden age of street-emerged subculture aspects: hip hop and skateboarding. Using analog video footage shot during the late '80s to early '90s interspersed with contemporary interviews with key figures of the era, the film creates a portrait of New York's vibrant lower Manhattan where many important brands, personalities, music, and lifestyle aspects contributed to the emerging urban culture that still resonates today.
