Eight of the songs on this collection have never appeared on CD in the U.S. before (including "Wonderland by Night" by Anita Bryant and "Love Me Tender" by Richard Chamberlain), and many others appear in rare mono or stereo mixes that have been elusive since their original appearance on vinyl (such as Billy Bland's "Let the Little Girl Dance," Gene Pitney's "Town Without Pity," and "Venus in Blue Jeans" by Jimmy Clanton). Remastered with care, this set is billed as being created "by collectors for collectors," and features a diverse selection of perennial favorites and pop hits that have fallen through the cracks over the years.
