American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island

One of the direct-to-video sequels to the Steven Spielberg-produced tale of immigrant mice, An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a singalong for one of the film's songs and a handful of interactive games. The extras will not be of interest to those wishing to learn about the animation process, but kids will certainly appreciate the activities. This disc was released the same day as An American Tail, as well as two of the film's other sequels.
