America's Railroads: The Steam Train Legacy

This unique, six-disc package of over 30 documentaries charts the chronological development of the railroad industry in the United States. Running over 12 hours, it covers virtually everything from the initial completion of the transcontinental line between Council Bluffs, Iowa and Alameda, California circa 1869, through the eventual rise to prominence of diesel trains during the early-mid 20th century.
