Arthur

This DVD edition of the '80s hit comedy Arthur offers only a full-screen standard picture format (1.33:1 aspect ratio) and the following audio track options: English (Dolby Digital 1.0) and French (Dolby Digital 1.0), with subtitles available in English, Spanish, and French. Special features are restricted to the usual original theatrical trailers and a few production notes. The picture is of approximately VHS quality, with acceptable sharpness, color naturalness, and contrast; but the sound quality is substandard and mono throughout the film, rendering the dialog clearly audible but not resonant or stereophonic. The usual chapter index is included within the plastic DVD case.
