This release of the country and western variety show TOWN HALL PARTY features two back-to-back episodes that originally aired via Los Angeles's KTTV on August 29, 1959 and September 5, 1959, respectively. Jay Stewart provides introductions to both; the August episode features performers including Gordon Terry, Lefty Frizzell, Martha Carson and Jimmy Pruett, while the September episode features performers including Jeannie Sterling, Charlie Williams and Bob Luman.
