Bach Performance On Piano [2 Discs]

Acclaimed classical concert pianist Angela Hewitt hosts the release Bach Performance on the Piano. Part one of this release finds Hewitt expostulating at length on her own playing and musical education, and instructing aspiring pianists on the fundamentals of outstanding interpretation of Bach's works. Subtopics of her lesson include phrasing, tone, fingering, dynamics and articulation. Part two features recital-based performances by Hewitt of three works by Bach: Partita No. 4 in D Major, Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in D Minor and Italian Concerto in F Major.
