Best of Hank Williams [TGG]

It isn't entirely accurate for this 20-track collection to claim that it contains the best-of Hank Williams, although it has plenty of classic sides like "Move It On Over," "Lovesick Blues" (listed on the back tray as "Lovestick Blues," which really isn't forgivable), "Cold Cold Heart," and the elegantly beautiful "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry," among others. It's just that there was so much more to this iconic singer and songwriter than what's presented here. This set will do in a pinch, though, if one just needs to hear some Hank, and who could argue with a need like that? ~ Steve Leggett
