The fifth studio long-player from the Los Angeles-based hard rockers led by powerhouse vocalist Maria Brink, Black Widow finds In This Moment leaving Century Media Records, yet relying again on the talents of longtime producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Hellyeah, Five Finger Death Punch). Recorded at Churko's own Hideout Studios in Sin City, the Atlantic Records-issued 13-track collection doubles down on the group's penchant for crafting muscular, yet always melodious metalcore-kissed slabs of Lacuna Coil-esque American goth-metal, and was preceded by the singles "Sick Like Me," "Big Bad Wolf," and "Bloody Creature Poster Girl." ~ James Christopher Monger
