Horror icon Christopher Lee teams up with director Jesus Franco for this bloody scare-fest, which has been given a reverent DVD release by the genre enthusiasts at Blue Underground. The Bloody Judge has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1, which has also been enhanced for anamorphic play on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Mono; the dialogue is dubbed into English, with no multiple language options. Bonus materials include deleted and alternate sequences, interviews with Lee and Franco, trailers and television spots, cast and crew biographies, and a gallery of promotional artwork for the picture.
