BLUE JEANS

Mario Imperioli (La Dolci Zie) directed this peculiar exploitation film about a busty prostitute named Daniela (Miss Teen Italy 1974 Gloria Guida) who gets arrested and claims to be a wealthy man's daughter. Daniela, nicknamed "Blue Jeans," plots to insinuate herself into the household and have Dr. Carlo Anselmi (Paolo Carlini) murdered, then inherit his fortune. Unfortunately, both Anselmi and Daniela's stupid ex-pimp end up killing each other in a duel, and Daniela decides that prostitution is more rewarding than intrigue. Annie Carol Edel and Gian Luigi Chirizzi co-star in this oddball melodrama which frequently vacillates between comedy and tragedy with a jarring disregard for internal logic.
