Camille Saint-Saëns: Samson et Dalila [Video]

Camille Saint-Saëns's three-act +Samson and Delilah (1877) comes to the stage courtesy of the Vlaamse Opera , in this 2009 production. Adapted from the Bible story about the famous titular doomed lovers, it stars Torsten Kerl as Samson, Marianna Tarasova as Dalila, Nikola Mijailovi? as The Grand Priest of Dagon, and Milcho Borovinov as Abimélech. The Symphony Orchestra and Choir of Vlaamse Opera Antwerp lends orchestral accompaniment, under the baton of maestro Tomáš Netopil, while Yannis Pouspourikas serves as chorus master.
