The non-orchestral version of the soundtrack for director Kimberly Peirce's 2013 Chloë Grace Moretz- and Julianne Moore-starring reboot of the film adaptation of the Stephen King-penned telekinesis thriller Carrie (composer Marco Beltrami provided the score), this 12-track collection of "music from the motion picture" includes previously issued contributions from the likes of Vampire Weekend ("Diane Young"), Passion Pit ("Take a Walk"), the Naked and the Famous ("Live for the Night"), Cults ("I Can Hardly Make You Mine"), HAIM ("Let Me Go"), and an unreleased track from Matrimony ("Tombstone Blues").
