Cartas A Eufemia

The leading politician of a small town tries to use his power to rape a beautiful young woman named Eufemia. His crime is thwarted by a lone traveler, rescuing Eufemia. The hero and the damsel in distress fall head over heals for each other, having to continue their new affair through writing letters when the drifter goes back on the road. A long distance relationship ensues and increasingly becomes more difficult for them.
