Kathy is rebellious teenager. To curb her undesirable characteristics, she is committed to a psychiatric ward in the Belgian countryside. The facility promises her stability, which is something she is not interested in having. Because of that, she stages an escape. She steals a car and plans on going to see her father who she has never met. Her two roommates, Nabila and Carole, decide to join her in her bid for freedom.
