Centurion

Roman soldier Quintus (Michael Fassbender) leads a small band of troops on a mission to rescue a key Roman general after they become trapped in the territory of their sworn enemies, the Picts, in this thrilling period adventure set in A.D. 117. After surviving a raid by the Picts on a Roman fort, Quintus joins the Ninth Legion and vows vengeance. When Gen. Virilus is captured during a subsequent ambush, Quintus leads the few remaining survivors on a treacherous rescue mission.
