Charles Dickens' London, Part 2: Works

This documentary program carries the viewer on a tour of "Charles Dickens's London," with an emphasis on the locales related to - and highlighted in - the books that he wrote. It commences with a trip to his Doughty Street house, where he finished such classics as Nicholas Nickelby and Oliver Twist, and which was later converted to a museum. The program then tours sites that Dickens worked into the actual tomes, including milieux present in David Copperfield, Bleak House, Great Expectations and other romans.
