Bravura performances by Benicio Del Toro and Demián Bichir as iconic Latin American revolutionaries Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Fidel Castro, respectively, fire up this engrossing biopic directed by Steven Soderbergh. Del Toro and Soderbergh also served as producers. The film was also released in two parts with the first being called "The Argentine" and the second "Guerrilla." The screenplay is adapted from Guevara's memoir "Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War" and his "Bolivian Diary."
