Christoph Willibald Gluck - Orphee Et Eurydice

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the prestigious Castell de Peralada music festival in Peralada, Spain, theatrical ensemble La Fura dels Baus and stage director Carlus Padrissa teamed up for this 2011 stage production of Christoph Willibald Gluck's 1762 opera +Orfeo ed Euridice. It stars Anita Rachvelishvili as Orfeo, Maite Alberola as Euridice, Auxiliadora Toledano as Amore and Aline Vincent as Dancer, with musical support by Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Musica Catalana and Orquesta bandArt; Jodi Casas Bayer serves as choral master and Gordan Nikoli? as concertmaster. Aitziber Sanz designed the costumes.
