Country songwriter and singer Dickey Lee was one of a kind, although it was the everyman feel of the songs he wrote, which include the classic "She Thinks I Still Care," a huge hit for George Jones in 1962, that made him one of Nashville's most successful songwriters ever, with versions of his songs recorded by everyone from Elvis Presley, Glen Campbell, and Brenda Lee to Air Supply, who had a hit with Lee's "Lost in Love" in 1980. This set finds Lee revisiting versions of these songs, plus "Patches," a million-selling hit for Lee in 1961, and others. ~ Steve Leggett
