Close to Vermeer

Despite being considered one of the Dutch Masters, responsible for Girl With a Pearl Earring and The Milkmaid, very little is known about the reclusive artist Johannes Vermeer. The documentary attempts to shed more light on the famous painter and includes interviews with curators, collectors, conservators, and curators who shed different perspectives and information on the art, the artist, and what it takes to promote exhibitions.
